According to a few news sources, it seems Leeds United have bottled it when it comes to the purchase of Matt Mills.
The Yorkshire club have been reported to be interested in the player for quite some time now, however they’re not looking to match Bolton’s valuation in order to secure Mills’ signature – instead they’re looking to bring the player to Elland Road on a season-long loan.
Rumours also stipulate that Mills’ salary is also a stumbling block – well, if that is the case then we’re wondering why Leeds are sniffing around Matt Mills in the first place. If you cannot afford a player – you don’t spend much of your time trying to tempt him to move to you – do you?
Regardless of all the talk – these are currently rumours and until such time they are confirmed, do take the above with the pinch of salt.
