Bolton Wanderers have just reported that Josh Vela will be out for approx four months after damaging knee ligaments in the League Cup defeat against Crawley Town.

Vela was substituted after just 4 mins due to a clash with Crawley’s Nicky Adams. It seems the injury curse has struck again, taking a potentially superb player away from regular duties to nursing an injury that’s going to see him out until January.
