The last day of the Transfer Window tend to be very stressful days for football clubs, and in recent years we’ve seen Bolton struggle to bring in the quality players they need to boost the team. With the Spearing confirmation yesterday and this morning, Bolton fans will probably be feeling a little better now as we have secured that midfield player we’ve spent more or less all pre-season looking for. However, we feel that we still need another player of similar calibre to Spearing as we have over the last 12 months experienced some serious injuries, and the start of this season has seen that injury curse strike a couple of times, knocking Ngog and Vela out of contention for this weekend.

So, the only player we’re still linked with is Nigel Reo-Coker, or whatever did happen to that Carlos ‘The Rock’ Sanchez deal that was supposedly ressurected?
