Knocking At The Door Of Turf Moor

Tomorrow we head to Burnley to kick off our first ever Championship campaign, and I’m sure this will be a trip down memory lane for manager Owen Coyle and players Chris Eagles, Tyrone Mears and Joe McKee.

We have no new injury concerns, with Holden and N’Gog are the unavailable with cartilage and knee problems respectively.

Bolton’s player (one-to-watch): Martin Petrov; the Bulgarian has been on fire during the whole of our pre-season and should cause real problems for the Burnley defence.

Burnley’s player (one-to-watch): Charlie Austin. This talented striker has spent most of his life as a bricklayer playing amateur football but when Swindon Town snapped him up, he became a prolific goal scorer, bagging 31 goals in 54 appearances. He also was Burnley’s top scorer last season with 16 goals.

I think the lineup for tomorrow may be as follows: Bogdan, Riley, Mills, Ream, Ricketts, Lee, M.Davies, Andrews, Petrov, Afobe, Sordell.

Match Verdict – This will be a close game, despite Burnley’s home advantage I have to predict a win for us – therefore it’s going to be a 2-1 result to the Wanderers.

What do you think the result will be this weekend? Do you agree with the lineups?

Got a feeling this will swing Burnleys way like normal, hope it does just to teach coyle a lesson! You Bolton fans think we give two s**ts about you. It’s coyle were mad at, motif nobody no history club. Remember boxing day 2009 at turf moor when you all slagged him off saying he was a terrible player etc. Now you all cream over him. Pathetic scum

You still sound like you have a lot of hatred for coyle. You need to get over it just like we did with big sam walking out on us.

Holding onto grudges doesn’t benefit you other than fuel something that will be overlooked in the future.

We weren’t part of the minority slagging coyle off in 2009. I personally grew up watching coyle and admired him as a player and admire him as a manager.

We’re also not the sort of fan site that are going to get dragged into bitch fights. We love a bit of banter and like to keep it friendly.

Other than that, good luck for tomorrow. May the best team win.

Coyle was a great player for us and is a great manager, he was actually our second choice when we hired Megson and we reccomended him to you. Mate please don’t go there.
