VfL Wolfsburg have terminated the contract of Tuncay Sanli with immediate effect by mutual agreement.
The German club wished Sanli their best wishes for the future, “VfL Wolfsburg wants to take this opportunity to further sporting and personal life all the best” in a statement released on Die Wölfe’s official website.
Sanli joined Wolfsburg from Stoke City for €5.2 millon in January 2011. The experienced Turkish international spent last season on loan with Premiership outfit Bolton Wanderers.
The 30-year-old forward made 16 appearances for Bolton.
Sanli has been linked with a move back to Bolton however, has also received offers from Turkish sides Trabzonspor and Elazığspor.
