Santa Cruz Wants North West Stay – Possible Bolton Interest?

Roque Santa Cruz has returned back to Manchester City after a loan spell in Spain with Real Betis. With Tevez, Dzeko, Ballotelli and Sergio Agureo always competing for a starting spot, Santa Cruz has practically got no chance of getting into the team which leaves him with his only option -leaving the club.

Santa Cruz has declared he would want to stay in the North West if he was to move as he feels he doesn’t want to keep moving his kids year on year – which is quite understandable. This could mean he’s trying to grab the attention of Wigan, Blackburn or Bolton.

So, are you thinking what we’re thinking? Do you think Coyley should show and interest in bringing him to the Reebok? Surely, it would be a step down for Santa Cruz, but he would have a better chance at getting first team action.

Would he be a good signing for us IF we managed to bring him to the Reebok?

    My first thought when he said he wants to stay in the north west was that we have to at least enquire about him. I’ve not seen alot of him personally but from what I’ve heard he’s a good player and could probably get us the goals we need in the championship.

    Somehow though I don’t think Coyle will. He’s 30 and will probably want immense wages, so doesn’t really fit Coyle’s style of player.
