Owen Coyle is stepping up a gear by looking to secure players for next season’s promotion campaign, with a reported interest in Colombian International Carlos Sanchez. The South American is reported to be Nigel Reo Coker’s replacement, nicknamed ‘La Roca’ or in English – ‘The Rock’, currently with Valenciennes, is out of contract at the end of this month.

Reading have also had Sanchez on their radar for quite some time, however it seems they are far from securing Sanchez’s services due to only offering the highly rated Colombian a 1 year deal.

Bolton are understood to have made an impressive offer, plus incentives to bring Sanchez to the Reebok – and if Owen Coyle can work his charm, Sanchez ‘may’ be a Bolton player next season.
