Bulgarian international Martin Petrov joined Bolton Wanderers from Manchester City on July 1, 2010. Petrov played in the German Bundesliga with Wolfsburg, La Liga in Spain with Atletico Madrid and, most recently, with ManchesterCity, where the winger spent the three previous seasons at Eastlands.
He played an important part in ManchesterCity’s achievements during that time, making 66 appearances and scoring 12 goals. Petrov, who is renowned for possessing a venomous left-foot shot, is also a regular in the Bulgaria national side. He has earned 77 caps since making his debut in 1999 and was part of the squad that reached the European Championships in 2004, where he scored against Italy. That strike was one of 19 goals scored on the international stage.
The auction currently has 11 hours left (as of writing this post).
