Do You Have Something Constructive To Say?

If you’re passionate about Bolton Wanderers then have you considered writing about them?

We’re always on the look out for a few budding fans to share their voice on our site. Whether you’d like to write about them regularly or you simply have something to constructive to share about last weekend’s game – you’re welcome to send us your views.

You don’t need to be writing huge essays about the Whites, you can simply write a paragraph or so – your voice would be a fantastic addition to this site.

If you’re interested and would like to contribute on our site just send us an email via the contact form with the subject line: Contributors. If you have any questions regarding what we do then feel free to drop us a line either via the contact form or twitter (@voiceofbolton).

Where Do We Go From Here Then?

We spent most of the weekend keeping ourselves busy, keeping our mind off what had happened on Saturday afternoon. We successfully avoided Match Of The Day on Saturday evening by having a long late-night session on FIFA 12.

However, we knew we couldn’t ignore the scoreline for much longer, and then on Sunday evening it hit us. Even after the game Owen Coyle Junior was rather upset with plenty more Bolton fans self destructing on twitter stating such things we can’t rephrase on this website.

So, so far we have 2 wins, 0 draws and 8 losses. On paper, we should’ve won our games against Norwich and Swansea – Sunderland was always going to be one of those which could swing either way but the fact remains that games are won on pitches – not on paper.

Where do we go from here? Does Bolton actually know what is now needed from them over the next few games? Who is the Weakest Link?

Swansea City Vs Bolton – Are You Nervous?

Are you nervous? We don’t mind admitting we are.

Swansea City, newcomers to the Premier League have had a great start to their first season in the almighty Premier League, and we have to agree they’ve put in some good performances and come out with some good results.

However, last weekend saw the Swans take a 2 – 0 lead against Wolves, to let it slip and end the game with a 2 – 2 draw. If this is something to go by then it’s surely a positive thing for Bolton Wanderers, the pressure and a good performance can help things look a little brighter for Owen COyle and his side.

We still feel nervous as this is a situation we didn’t expect to find ourselves in. Neither did any other Bolton fan. However, a win here will help boost that confidence we lacked against a struggling Sunderland side.

Here’s hoping for a win at Swansea. Here’s hoping we can move upwards and onwards.

It has been a tough time for supporters, as the Trotters have embarked on their worst start to the season. Stoke City arrive at the Reebok on Sunday 6th November 2011, and we would like to give Bolton and Stoke City supporters a chance to watch the game in style.

It’s almost been a month since FIFA 12 was released and football fans everywhere made sure they bagged their copy on release day. Unfortunately, here at Voice Of Bolton we didn’t get ours for 2 weeks after release – yes, we are in a recession and cash flow is tight – hence we decided to add some adsense banners to the site.

So, this leads us to the Voice Of Bolton FIFA League. First and foremost, we would like to welcome aboard a partnership between Voice Of Bolton and YourFIFALeague. Welcome aboard guys and many thanks for helping us out with our first FIFA League season.

YourFIFALeague will be looking after you right from the start, through to the final game of the Voice Of Bolton FIFA League season.

We’re currently in the process of finishing off some pages dedicated to the Voice Of Bolton FIFA League, and with the FIFA League due to commence mid-November, we’ve got a fair few things to put in place by then – so please bear with us whilst we get everything ready.

In the meantime, keep your eyes (both of them) on our website for further updates – we will be publishing more over the next few days.
