So Man United It Is Then?

We’ve yet again been in touch with a fan site asking them questions ahead of this weekend’s game. This time it’s Manchester United visiting the Reebok Stadium and we’ve been speaking to TrulyReds to see what they their prediction is and what they think about Bolton Wanderers. Q&As below:

Who do you think are Manchester United’s key men this season?

I think Wayne Rooney, Young and Anderson. Rooney can’t stop scoring, and this season he’s also been scoring freely from free-kicks. Since the departure of C.Ronaldo, we’ve not seen many goals at Old Trafford from a dead ball situation. Young will prove he is the signing of the season and Anderson is maturing so you can see the consistency in his game – this will be an important factor this season.

Who’s the unsung hero or rising star we may not have heard about in Manchester United’s camp?

Tom Cleverley, but everyone knows about him now! I think Paul Pogba is probably going to be the next Man United star. I expect to see him play in the League Cup this season and showcase his talent. However, if Owen Coyle is reading this then I would suggest Bolton should take him on loan as the Reebok is a good place for a players to improve their abilities; i.e. Daniel Sturridge.

Which Bolton player(s) do you think are capable of causing Manchester United problems this weekend?

Martin Petrov, he always shines against United and is a big headache for any defender – not to forget David N’Gog up front. Ex-United Chris Eagles will probably cause us problems as he will be out to prove United shouldn’t have sold him.

If you could have any Bolton player on your team, who would it be and why?

Gary Cahill, United’s defence would be hard to beat with him and Vidic commanding the back line. I like Martin Petrov too, his style and effort can help any club in the Premier League.

What is your perception of Bolton? How do you think we’ll do this season and what is your impression of us as a club?

I think Bolton are one of those clubs which you must show respect. They’ve been performing well since their promotion back in 2000-2001. If Owen Coyle can find a way to stop dropping points at the Reebok, I think you can secure a place in Europa League. The new signings will add good depth to the squad and you will be in safe hands with Jääskeläinen!

I think the club has a good plan for the future, but it would be nice to see them investing some new players who have a similarity to Okocha, Anelka and Djorkaeff – these are players who will be able to add a special touch to Bolton’s game.

With Manchester City investing heavily in their squad during the summer, do you think they will be considered as title contenders this season?

Yes, so far they’ve been playing well. I can see them winning all their games before the big derby on October 23rd. Maybe it will be game of the season!

If you feel Manchester City aren’t a threat to you for the title, which club would you say are ones to stay ahead of?

I can see Chelsea being a threat too.

There has always been talk on Fergie’s retirement from football, however he seems to be going strong year on year. How long do you think it will be before Alex Ferguson decides to call it day?

Another 5 years, 10 years! Actually no one but Fergie can answer this question!

Match Prediction? Scorers?

2-1 to Man U. Rooney and Nani for United. N’Gog for Bolton
